Many thanks for the advice so far. Regarding using smaller pulley to slow blade speed (& increase torque)... Our 28" saw runs at 561 rpm. If my (very rusty) arithmetic is correct. That makes for a blade speed of 4110.25 Feet per minute. Is it practical to use a slower speed? Is there an optimum speed for each different type of blade?? I will contact wood mizer today & get their recomendations... I'll keep you posted. Thanks Again... Dan
