Hello Guys

We operate two 8' bandmills and use 13ga x 49' x 11.5" saws. I'm hoping one of you can help me with a pesky little problem I'm having with a couple of my swages. We use several Hanchett model 54/55's and most have the same problem. After swaging a perfectly aligned tooth, the inside side of the swage measures approximately .014" wider than the outside. After shaping (with an Armstrong 6900B) the tooth is still approximately .010" wider/bigger on the inside. This obviously leads to constant 'straightening' of the teeth. When this problem first arose, I attempted to cure the problem by replacing virtually every part in the swage body. Side clamps, bushings, bearings etc. The only cure was to replace the very expensive body. Any ideas or possible cures would be greatly appreciated!
