Hi,

I'm working on a project that will allow us to process small-diameter timber from an 80,000 acre ranch. We are involved in a major thinning project in Northern Taos County, New Mexico that will allow us to reduce the fire hazard while increasing grazing forage and improve soil erosion control.

To achieve this we would like to purchase some equipment that will produce a value-added product from timber in the 2" to 12" diameter range with lengths of 6-feet to 20-feet. Most of the product will be targeted to the pole & post market from our spruce timber. Higher quality timber will be used in the furniture, flooring and construction markets. Specific equipment we are evaluating includes Roundwood/Dowel Mills and Cant/Scragg Mills.

Do you have any equipment that will handle this small-diameter timber processing need?

If you have any additional end-product uses that we might consider, please let us know.
