Use:

• Place gauge against pins and read the dial indicator. Slide gauge back and forth to check consistency along its length

• Canter bend plates

• A straight edge should read zero

• Three pin spacings are available depending on the length of your gauges  

• The gauge is more sensitive for the larger pin spacing
